You have two choices when charged with DWI (Driving While Impaired): plead not guilty and proceed to trial or plead guilty. My job is to help the court find you not guilty.
There are several ways to fight your case before trial. If any of your constitutional rights were violated, we will petition the judge to dismiss your case. If any of your procedural rights were violated, we will ask the judge to suppress evidence.
At trial, the prosecutor must prove the officer had reasonable suspicion to stop you and probable cause to arrest you. Finally, the court must determine that all the admissible evidence proves guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. Each of these issues is an opportunity to win your case.
